Great Vista was founded by Joshua Makinen and Holly Perry in 2019 as a platform for agents to plug into all the resources an independent agent would need to be successful in the life and health insurance marketplaces.
Agents ourselves, we noticed that the industry lacked transparency and that this seemed to be a major factor in the high turnover and failure rate that the insurance industry is known for. We decided to do things differently!

At Great Vista we believe that success can only be achieved when realistic goals and expectations are set and we work closely with our agents in building their business plan. We teach agents how to run their own agencies like a business! We teach our teams how to grow an agency, how to budget and forecast, and track the real metrics necessary for success. We do not believe in painting an unrealistic picture of what could be, instead we focus on setting realistic expectations and goals to help agents achieve their goals.

We aim to be a one stop shop for our partners allowing agents to grow in the industry over time and develop their pratices with tools and resources starting with final expense, and mortgage protection, and moving into advanced markets and annuity sales as well as the health insurance marketplace to build long term residual income streams not possible with other brokerages.
